The Hamata Islands area is located two miles from the shore opposite the village of Hamata. It is renowned for its swimming and diving spots, featuring sandy beaches and depths filled with reefs, colorful fish.
It includes four species of sea crabs, green turtles and more than 13 species of small fish. The mountainous area, which includes Hamata Mountain, the second highest peak in the Red Sea after Shaib El-Banat Mountain, is home to mountain goats (ibex), Dorcas gazelles, which are known as “ghazal afri,” and the Arabian gazelle, one of the smallest and most common types of gazelles, as well as ibex, antelope, and more than 13 types of birds, including the sunset falcon.
Are you Ready For Hamata Islands Adventure ? Start your adventure with an early morning transfer from your hotel to Hamta Marina. At around 8:30 AM, we set sail on the Red Sea, heading towards Hamta Islands of Siyul, Showarit, and Um El Sheikh. These islands, part of the Qulaan archipelago, are renowned for their breathtaking coral formations and diverse sea life.
The sandy beaches have earned them the nickname ‘Egyptian Maldives, and also Explore the white sandy beaches, observe rare birds, and enjoy the vibrant marine life in the lagoons. The Qulaan archipelago, within Wadi El Gamal National Park, is a bird-watching paradise with large colonies of inhabitants. Enjoy a fantastic day out with lunch included on board our comfortable boat.
Between the snorkeling sessions, enjoy soft drinks and mineral waters for 25 minutes and after the 2 snorkeling sessions you will have an open buffet meal. Throughout the trip, the saloon offers coffee, tea, mineral water, and soft drinks for your refreshment.
